That’s a wrap on Open Days for 2026! In the past month, we’ve welcomed more than 12,800 prospective students and their families to our Bedford Park, City, Tonsley and Riverland campuses, to help them find out why a Flinders education might be the right fit for them.

That’s a 44.8% increase in Open Days attendance compared to 2025, reflecting the growing interest in our programs and the difference a Flinders education can offer. The Bedford Park campus welcomed the highest number of schools since records began in 2009, with students travelling from across Adelaide, as well as regional South Australia and Victoria, highlighting the broad reach of Flinders.

From a shark dissection, CPR tutorials, escape rooms and interacting with robots, to a blood splatter crime scene demonstration and an archaeology dig pit, there were plenty of hands-on activities for prospective students to engage with, helping them gain a better understanding of their preferred career path and study options at Flinders.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, energy and enthusiasm to help make Open Days a success! Whether you delivered presentations, staffed information stands, supported tours and demonstrations, helped behind the scenes, or simply shared your passion for your discipline with prospective students and families, your contribution played a vital role in showcasing what makes Flinders a great place to study.
