Help raise the profile of your teaching, research and graduates. Explore the QS Reputation Survey Hub and invite contacts to register by 6 November.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), whose rankings are among the most closely followed in global higher education, ranks universities worldwide.

For Flinders, strong QS rankings help attract students, researchers and partners, and raise recognition of our teaching, research and graduates.

Each year, QS asks academics which universities they regard highly within their discipline, and employers which universities produce high-quality graduates.

Together, these reputation surveys account for 45% of Flinders’ overall QS World University Rankings score. They also contribute to the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

The results influence how people around the world see Flinders. A strong reputation can help us recruit talented staff, build research and industry partnerships and attract research funding.

What’s happening now?

We’re collecting academic and employer contacts who could be invited to participate in QS’s independent surveys in early 2027, contributing to the 2028 QS rankings.

Both academic and professional staff may have connections with people who know our teaching, research or graduates well. These could include research collaborators, industry partners, recruiters, professional association colleagues and employers of our graduates.

Australian and international contacts are welcome, with international contacts carrying greater weight.

Explore the new hub

The new QS Reputation Survey Hub brings together guidance, approved email templates and an example of how Flinders Nursing staff draw on their professional networks.

If you know suitable contacts, the templates make it easy to invite them to complete a short online form. Their details and consent go directly to the Business Intelligence and Planning team’s inbox to be collated for QS.

Contact details must be submitted by 6 November 2026.

Visit the SharePoint hub to learn more.
