Two Dunstan Film Club movies are being screened on 4 October, and Flinders staff can see them at the discounted member’s rate of just $7 per ticket. Hit rom-com Crazy Rich Asians is being screened at 6pm in Mercury Cinema (13 Morphett St, Adelaide). The film follows New York-based Economics Professor Rachel (Constance Wu) and long-term boyfriend Nick (Henry Golding) going to Singapore for a friend’s wedding – and to finally meet Nick’s family, which he has neglected to reveal is one of Asia’s wealthiest families. Dunstan Film Club is also screening The Incredibles 2 as a school holiday treat for the whole family! The 2pm screening at Mercury Cinema follows the animated adventures of the Parr family – Mr Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack – using their powers to rescue their city from a new super villain named Screenslaver. Bookings can be made online.
