Staff who have contributed 25 years of service to Flinders University were acknowledged last week at the 2019 Staff Service Awards, receiving a special memento of Flinders over an afternoon ceremony.

The Awards were held on 6 November 2019, with six staff members present to receive their certificate, pin and gift, which included a plant variety grown in the Flinders Investigator Garden above the lake.

Recipients were congratulated by Vice-Chancellor Colin Stirling, who said the occasion was a well-deserved opportunity to step back from busy lives and reflect on their achievements, and contributions to the University and their profession.

After the formalities of the award presentation, he joined the recipients, their supervisors and invited guests to celebrate the occasion over drinks and canapes.
