Professor Judith Dwyer (pictured) of the Department of Health Care Management is the recipient of the 2014 Sidney Sax Medal, which was awarded by the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA). The award honours Professor Dwyer’s lifelong commitment to delivering high quality health services in Australia, particularly in the area of Indigenous health.

Flinders marine biologist Associate Professor Sabine Dittmann has been appointed to an Expert Scientific Panel that will look closely at the science supporting the new Commonwealth Marine Reserves as part of an independent review announced by the Federal Government.
