Doing the best for the career prospects of Chinese students

Rong PeiAll academic and professional staff who teach or work with Chinese students are invited to attend a seminar to be presented by Professor Rong Pei of the Beijing Institute of Technology.

The Managing in the  Professions Forum and Teaching & Learning Seminar, presented by the Flinders Business School, is titled Improving work-readiness and employment outcomes for Chinese returnee graduates and students: Opportunities and challenges  for Australian universities.

The seminar will examine ways that Australian universities can best prepare Chinese students for their return home to an increasingly competitive graduate job market.

The seminar will be held from 12 noon to 1pm on Wednesday, February 18 in Room 3.18 of the Law and Commerce Building. Please RSVP to fbs@flinders.edu.au

Professor Rong Pei is Director of the Sino-Foreign Family Business Research Center, School of Management and Economics, at the Beijing Institute of Technology, one of China’s top-ranked universities. Her research and position allows her to effectively observe economic trends in China, especially trends in employment among Chinese private and family-owned businesses.
