The New Venture Institute is hosting 18 Australia Awards recipients for a workshop on innovation and entrepreneurship tomorrow.
The women, from Indonesia and Mongolia, are leaders in social policy and social justice, business, entrepreneurship and knowledge .
The workshop will be held at Flinders at Tonsley from 9 to 11am on October 14.
The focus on women as leaders of economic growth and change draws on evidence from international research that shows the central importance of women as catalysts and indicators for economic growth and social advancement.
The Federal Government funds Australia Awards fellowships to strengthen partnerships and links between Australian organisations and partner organisations in developing countries in support of Australia’s economic diplomacy and public diplomacy objectives, and to increase the capacity of developing countries to advance issues of shared interest.
