Greyhound visit combats exam fatigue

During the mid-year exam period students have been given the opportunity to cuddle a greyhound as part of a de-stress program run by the Health, Counselling and Disability Service in cooperation with the Greyhound Adoption Program SA (GAP SA).

Several former racing greyhounds have visited the Bedford Park campus over a series of four days to offer students much-needed pet therapy as they enter and exit their exams.

The visit from the dogs has also given students the chance to learn more about GAP SA, a not-for profit organisation that is dedicated to finding homes for retired and non-racing greyhounds.
