Flinders NT staff undertook a 2 day Mental Health First Aid training program this week.

The aim of the program is to extend first aid training to include mental health, so that staff members are better equipped to recognise and respond to someone who is experiencing a mental health issue.

The program has also been run for Year 1 students in the Northern Territory Medical Program (NTMP).
