Flinders NT Academic Lead, Rural and Remote Health, Dr Narelle Campbell, Professor Phillip Carson, and Flinders Northern Territory Medical Program Manager, Gillian Paynter
Professor Phillip Carson retired from Royal Darwin Hospital on 30th June 2020. Professor Carson joined Flinders in 2002 as an Associate Professor in Surgery. He was an effective and committed surgical educator and took particular care to involve students in all aspects of patient care. He has been involved with the Northern Territory Medical Program from its inception in 2011 and has spent many hours teaching and mentoring our students.
Narelle Campbell and Gillian Paynter presented Prof Carson with a small token of thanks from Flinders NT for his commitment to and support of our medical program.
