GP20 – Flinders NT joins the virtual conference!

GP20 was the RACGP organised virtual conference with on-demand content such as presentations from leading medical industry experts.

Flinders NT Regional Hub formed an “NT Training and Workforce Collaboration”, which is a network of NT stakeholders, including NTGPE, Northern Territory PHN, Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory and the Northern Territory Government NT Health Rural Generalist Coordination Unit.

All are involved in local medical training, employment, and workforce with a view to promote the NT as the place to live, train and work as a General Practitioner and promoting Rural Generalist GP Pathways.

“With a total of 1,571 registrations, the virtual conference reached a wide demographic range of people at different stages of their careers. This provided the NT Training and Workforce Collaboration with a great opportunity to promote living, working, and training in the NT as a GP” – said Eliza Gill (Program Manager, Regional Training Hub). To find out more about the conference visit GP20 website here.
