2022 Recipients of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Doctoral Thesis Excellence and HDR Impact Prize

This month we are highlighting the recipients of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Doctoral Thesis Excellence and the HDR Impact Prize.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Doctoral Thesis Excellence recognises 12 Doctoral theses a year that have been of particularly high standard. This year they cover a wide range of research areas such as the everyday lives of sex workers, how the family meal compares over the last 30 years, the evolution of sociality in insects to the chronic pain with endometriosis as well as the life of America’s first clown woman, the transformations in a peopled riverscape on the Riverland and the treatment for obstructive sleep apnea.

The HDR Impact Prize recognises two Doctoral theses to recognise the quality and impact of research. Congratulations to all recipients!

The Office of Graduate Research will be hosting a ceremony to celebrate their success on 14 June 2023.
