HDR completions and attendance to December Graduation 12 and 13 December 2024

For students who have received their results in Inspire, and would like to plan to attend the December Graduation the following dates are provided as a guide:

5 November 2024	Final day for students to upload thesis amendments into Inspire
11 November 2024	Final day for supervisors to approve thesis amendments in Inspire
18 November 2024	Final day for HDRC to approve thesis amendments in Inspire
	Students should upload their thesis to the Library via FLEX as soon as thesis amendments have been signed off by DoGR
2 December 2024	Final day for students to be completed in Student Management System in time for final conferral run
3 December 2024	Final conferral run before the ceremony
12 December 2024	Graduation Ceremonies commence

 

Thesis sent to examiners before end of year university closure

Where possible the HDR Examinations team will attempt to send theses out to examiners before the university closure. The thesis will go out approximately a week before the university closure to ensure that exams staff are available for examiners should they need technical support.

For students who would like to have their thesis sent out for examination before the end of year, the following tasks and dates apply:

21 November 2024	Final day for supervisors to complete the Nomination of Examiners form
28 November 2024	Final day for HDRC to approve the Nomination of Examiners forms
3 December 2024	Final Day for students to submit thesis (with examiner nominations approved)
6 December 2024	Final day for supervisors to approved submission of thesis if it is to be sent before university closure
