Intended audience: IDS staff

This year has been a year of incredible pace and change. As we head towards the festive end of the year, I would like to take some time to thank everyone for the brilliant contribution that has been made and the outstanding amount that we have achieved. There has been a great deal of work in implementing a lot of process improvement and implementing new frameworks, as well as major significant project deliverables that have provided significant transformations within the University. You will hear more about these from each individual Associate Director.

This year we have welcomed 43 new starters to IDS. We also farewell our Chief Information Security Officer and Associate Director of the Office of the CIO, Aaron Finnis. I wish Aaron the best of luck on his continued journey, we will certainly miss him.

As we are drawing close to our Christmas break, please make sure you spend time with your loved ones and enjoy and relax the time away, ready to come back and tackle 2019.
