This week, Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA were invited to be part of a careers in health event organised by WE Care (Fleurieu) at TAFE SA Victor Harbor campus.

The focus was to bring together agencies that train and/or provide employment opportunities and promote opportunities and pathways to those careers within the health and care sector to the visiting public.

Flinders were thrilled to participate we were joined by students on placement in the area who spoke about their chosen studies, journey and the health sector where they would like to work after completing their degrees.

Unfortunately, our MDRS students were on leave and could not join us, but occupational therapy, speech pathology and nursing students were on hand to enthusiastically share their experiences and conducted fun interactive activities.
