The NT Regional Training Hub has identified a need for an education-based network to unite medical clinical educators along the medical training pathway in the Northern Territory. The NT Clinical Academy embodies this vision, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for educators with opportunities for membership and steering committee participation.
“It was so good to meet with our clinical educators and help support their learning processes while performing comedy,” shared Uncle Dr. Richard Fejo, Flinders University Elder on Campus, and stand-up comedian.
Uncle Richie’s warm and personable approach made the event a unique experience.
“Tuesday night’s NT Clinical Academy event ‘The Importance of Feedback’ was a testament to the power of laughter in fostering meaningful connections and providing impactful feedback. Uncle Richie, with his infectious humour, brought together clinicians at Yogi’s Way, demonstrating the academy’s commitment to building a vibrant community through networking, good food, and shared laughter”, according to Emma Kennedy, Associate Professor in Medical Education and Training.
Stay tuned for future events as the NT Clinical Academy continues to elevate our community of practice through innovative and engaging experiences.
