Fellowship is the highest and most esteemed membership category awarded by ACHSM, the peak professional body for health managers in Australasia.

Professor Hughes is a powerful advocate for equity, cultural humility, and systems reform. She regularly provides expert advice to national health committees and contributes to key policy reform initiatives.

Her integrity, intellect, and compassion have made her a mentor to many emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals and researchers. Her influence extends far beyond nephrology or the Northern Territory. She is a national voice for systemic change.
