Inspiring the Next Generation at the Riverland Secondary Schools Alliance Careers Day

Flinders University was pleased to be part of the Riverland Secondary Schools Alliance Careers Day held in Berri last week, joining more than 80 businesses, organisations and educational institutions to connect with Year 11 and 12 students exploring their future pathways.

More than 400 students from Renmark, Berri, Loxton, Waikerie and Swan Reach attended the event, gathering valuable information about career opportunities, further study options and the pathways available after school.

The Flinders University stand welcomed a steady stream of students throughout the day, with strong interest in a wide range of study areas, including Nursing, Allied Health and Medicine delivered at the Renmark campus.

Students rotated through the various displays and activities within a tight timeline, bringing enthusiasm, thoughtful questions and curiosity about the opportunities available to them.

Many plan to attend Open Days in Adelaide and the Renmark campus in August.

Events like the Riverland Secondary Schools Alliance Careers Day provide an important opportunity to connect with local students, showcase regional study options, and support the next generation as they consider their future careers.
