Flinders University was proud to be part of the Riverland Field Days last week, welcoming visitors to our stand and showcasing the many study opportunities available through Flinders.

The event was a great opportunity to talk with students, families and community members about the pathways available to study health and medicine – not only in the Riverland, but also at our Bedford Park and City campuses.

There was strong interest from school students and adults, including visitors keen to find out more about studying medicine through the SA Rural Medical Program.

Our student ambassadors were a highlight of the stand, sharing their own experiences of studying at Flinders and chatting with visitors about university life. They also ran hands-on activities for the many school students who stopped by.

One of the most popular activities was our anatomical torso with removable organs. Visiting school students had the chance to identify the organs and then work out where each one belonged – proving that learning about the human body can be both educational and fun.

It was a fantastic couple of days connecting with the Riverland community and showcasing the opportunities available through Flinders.
