Insight into the Hindu Faith

Learn more about the Vedic Scriptures of India. Gopeshwari Didi will shed light on the Upanishads, the Brahma Sutras, and the very popular and well-loved Bhagavad Gita. Fijian-born Gopeshwari Didi will be in Adelaide from Wednesday 8 January 2014, giving lectures and follow-up talks on Eastern Philosophy and Meditation, based on the teachings of her spiritual master, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

In her teenage years, Gopeshwari Didi was deeply touched by the inspiring words of a small book, Prem Ras Siddhant, written by Shri Kripalu Ji, and at the tender age of 17 she was extremely fortunate to meet this great master and describes her first meeting as “finding an oasis in a desert”.
Didi Ji completed her academic studies in India, changing from her original choice of medicine to eventually graduate with a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in English Literature and Western Philosophy.

After graduating, Didi was instructed by her spiritual master to spread his teachings, which reconcile all major faiths, throughout the world.
For over 25 years she has traveled extensively to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US, Singapore and Malaysia, inspiring all those who meet her with words of profound wisdom.
Gopeshwari Didi is a vibrant and passionate speaker, combining deep philosophy with simple analogies and humorous anecdotes. While in Adelaide, she will be giving lectures at various public venues and private yoga studios.

Generally, Didi Ji will speak for 60-90 minutes and close the session with kirtan (chanting). Her talks are free of charge, with voluntary donations kindly appreciated.
