World Aids Day was on December 1 with a free BBQ on the lawns of the Function centre, raising awareness about the issues surrounding HIV and AIDS. World Aids Day encourages   people to show their support for people living with HIV & AIDS, and to commemorate people who have died.

The global world AIDS day theme for this year carries on from last year, Getting to Zero: Zero new HIV infections, Zero Discrimination, Zero AIDS related deaths.
