Career planning is most effective when it is started early and is embraced as an ongoing process. Taking steps to manage and plan your career and actively engage in your continued professional development will help ensure you can be responsive, and quickly seize opportunities that arise. The Career Planning module guides you through a variety of online activities to help you assess your values and aspirations, identify and evidence your research experience, recognise a variety of career opportunities both inside and outside of academia and develop your own professional development path, identifying potential career opportunities. The module also provides a number of online courses and Flinders specific resources and supports that help guide you through this process.
