New year, new challenges.  If you are a HDR candidate, there is no better time to register for the CMPH mentoring program.  Not only will you receive mentorship from our fantastic Early-Mid Career Academic Mentors, you will also have the opportunity to give and receive peer-support. Overall, this could have tremendous benefit to your HDR journey and future career.

We are also recruiting HDR students to mentor our Honours cohort.  If this interests you, please contact us and include in your email a short statement (no more than 250 words) telling us what you would bring to the role.

The CMPH Mentoring Committee enjoyed catching up with mentors and mentees at the Emerging Leaders Showcase towards the end of 2022. Feedback on the program suggests that HDR students in particular want greater continuity of support. To assist us in delivering this to you, please be sure to turn on notifications for the HDR Mentoring Teams group and be sure to check the notice board over the coming weeks.

To increase our visibility, we are asking for help to design a logo that captures the spirit of the CMPH mentoring program. So, if you have an interest in graphic design, spend too many hours on Biorender, or simply enjoy doodling please consider sending us a design, by the end of March. You don’t have to be part of the mentoring program to make a submission. A prize of unspecified monetary value will be awarded for the winning entry, but the real reward will be knowing that you are helping to promote a program that is here to support researchers.
