Prof Fran Baum has just returned from taking part in The Brisbane Global Cafe, which is billed as a “pre-G20 thought-leadership forum with “75 of the world’s sharpest, provocative and most innovative minds.” She was part of the “Improving Human Life” stream convened by Noble Prize winning Professor Ian Frazer and Professor Frank Gannon. At the Cafe, Fran spoke about the importance of achieving global health equity and addressed the ways in which it might be achieved. Her advice to the G20 meeting has been blogged at http://blogs.crikey.com.au/croakey/2014/11/13/memo-to-g20-leaders-the-three-best-buys-for-health-equity-and-it-takes-only-five-minutes/
