So it’s approximately 3 weeks until I leave for Spain to start my exchange. 21 days until I pack up my belongings and leave the comfort of my house, my family, my friends and an English speaking culture. I can’t say I’m not nervous but I think the excitement of studying abroad is overtaking the nerves. 

The thoughts of warm sunny weather instead of rainy grey skies makes me wish I was leaving now. Then I remember that I’m going to country where I can barely speak the basics and am happy to have a little extra time.

I have been researching the little spainsh town of Tarragona, which is just south of Barcelona in the catalonia region, and it looks stunning. I feel like I might not be ready to go just yet but I can not wait to emmerse myself in the beautiful spanish culture and cuisine (in particular) that awaits me.
