Mid-semester break – changes to opening hours

The mid-semester break runs from Monday 15 April to Sunday 28 April. If you plan to study on campus during the break, please note some minor changes to opening hours during this time.

Bedford Park Hub
You will still be able to access the Bedford Park Hub as usual during the break. See the Hub opening times here.

Library opening hours
Level 0 and level 1 of the Central Library will remain open 24-hours a day, for computer and study space use. The upper floors, library collections (including the level 1 text book collection) and staffed help desk services will be available during the usual Central Library opening hours except for the days below.

The Sturt 24-hour computer lab located on level 3 of the West Wing adjacent to the Library will also remain open.

The following changes apply to Central Library, Gus Fraenkel Medical Library and Sturt Library.

  • Friday 19 April (Good Friday) – closed
  • Saturday 20 April – Closed
  • Sunday 21 April (Easter Sunday) – open 11.00am to 6.00pm
  • Monday 22 April – open 11.00am to 6.00pm
  • Thursday 25 April (Anzac Day) – open 11.00am to 6.00pm

Note: swipe student ID card access is required to access 24-hour zones during non-staffed hours. If you have issues with swipe card access contact security@flinders.edu.au or call (08) 8201 2880.

Health, Counselling and Disability services
The Health, Counselling and Disability service is open as usual (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) over the mid-semester break except for weekends, and the public holidays listed below. To make an appointment, visit the Health, Counselling and Disability webpage or call (08) 8201 2118.

  • Friday 19 April – closed
  • Monday 22 April – closed
  • Thursday 25 April – closed

On public holidays and out of normal business hours, crisis counselling support is available if you need it. To use this service call 1300 512 409 or text 0488 884 103.
