Free support is available to all Flinders students

At Flinders, we want you to be successful and to feel supported throughout your studies. We know that sometimes the pressures of University and personal life can become hard to manage, but it’s important to remember you’re not alone. Flinders provides a wide range of free student support services to help you succeed at University. See some of the support services available below.

Health, Counselling and Disability Services
Access confidential appointments with qualified doctors, counsellors and disability advisors 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Students requiring crisis counselling support outside of business hours (including weekends and public holidays) can call the After Hours Crisis Support Line on 1300 512 409 or text 0488 884 103.

Student Learning Centre
Get face-to-face and online study support, including help with writing, maths, statistics, referencing, and English language.

Careers
The Flinders Careers and Employability Service can help you get job-ready through the Horizon Award plus a range of other career and professional development opportunities, career advice, connections with industry, and job opportunities.

Flinders University Student Association (FUSA)
FUSA is a student organisation that represents the rights and interests of students. This includes providing free and confidential academic, financial and welfare assistance.

Flinders Library
Flinders Library staff can help you navigate the wealth of information available across three Flinders Library branches, including electronic collections and more than a million books and journals.

International Student Services (ISS)
ISS supports international students in their study and social life at Flinders. International Student Advisors are also available one-on-one for study, accommodation, welfare and Visa enquiries.

Yunggorendi
The team at Yunggorendi provide a range of free support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. This includes academic and pastoral support, counselling, scholarships, a culturally safe study space, and more.

Oasis Community and Wellbeing Centre
Oasis is a Student Community Wellbeing Centre focused on supporting the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of students, to help them achieve academic and personal success.
