A glimpse into student life at Flinders’ Renmark campus

Thursday 29 August was the very last class for the Riverland Bachelor of Nursing students. Most have now commenced an eight week clinical experience placement prior to completing the course, graduating and becoming Registered Nurses early in the new year! To mark this occasion and celebrate the success they have achieved over the past three years, a celebratory dinner was held at the Renmark Club.

The dinner was a happy and enjoyable evening for this close-knit group of 15 students, although a few tears were shed. The students have given great support to each other over the years and will no doubt keep in touch with each other, as have previous Riverland graduates.

Riverland staff, Associate Lecture Dr David Pickles and Administrative Assistant Tania Pilgrim, were special invited guest at the event.

One student even brought their little one  – perhaps a future nursing student at Flinders?!
