The national Racism@Uni survey, and your opportunity to ensure your voice counts, is ending soon.
This important national survey will be closing this month. Your help is needed to ensure we have enough survey responses from staff and students to allow us to make useful and practical recommendations for change. If you complete the survey, you can choose to enter a prize draw to receive one of fifty $50 gift vouchers.
The Racism@Uni survey is anonymous, and your participation will be confidential. If you have already completed the survey, we thank you for doing so.
If you are yet to complete it, please use your unique link to the survey that has been emailed directly to you.
The Racism@Uni Survey is being conducted by POLIS: Centre for Social Policy Research at the Australian National University on behalf of the Australian Human Rights Commission. The survey findings will inform the Commission’s Racism@Uni: A National Study for Change Report. While everyone is encouraged to take part, participation is entirely voluntary.
For anonymity purposes we do not know who has and hasn’t completed the survey. For further information on the survey, please refer to previous emails sent to you and/or visit the Australian Human Rights Commission website.
Support and Resources:
We recognise that the topic of racism, vilification, and victimisation—and the survey itself—may be distressing or triggering.
To support our Flinders community, if you have had any experiences that have impacted you, we have developed an information sheet outlining our internal confidential support services, which is available at the following link. Confidential support is also available for students through the Counselling Services team. Further information on our commitment, policies, procedures and complaints processes can be found on our Anti-racism webpage.
