In a year filled with challenge and change, something that remains constant is the need for recognition. Perhaps now more than ever, getting feedback, accolades and acknowledgement of your teaching efforts may go some way to ending the year on a positive note. Three schemes currently open for nomination might appeal:

Vice-Chancellor’s Innovation in Teaching Awards: For recent responsive and sustainable educational initiatives that exemplify a culture of innovation and excellence. The key component of the application is a 3-5 minute video. Deadline is 2 November. Nomination Form

Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching: Recognising and rewarding teaching excellence. The key component of the application is a 4 page statement addressing a chosen criterion. Deadline is 2 November. Application Form

Best in FLO Showcase: Brought to you by FUSA and CILT, the Best in FLO Showcase calls for nominations of examples of FLO sites that go above and beyond to provide students with a quality digital learning experience.
