Vice-Chancellor’s Awards

The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards are for Up-and-coming researchers at the University celebrating early career success.

Vice-Chancellor Prize for Doctoral Thesis Excellence: Dr Thi Nguyen for “Screening and evaluating enzymes produced by actinobacteria growing on seaweed and their bioproducts.”

 

Cross-College research grant scheme

One of four successful grants from CMPH researchers in this inaugural University-wide scheme aimed at building research collaborations across the Colleges:

Awarded to CMBD members, Dr Zhongfan Jia (CSE),  Dr Reinu Abraham (CMPH), Prof Wei Zhang (CMPH): Develop high value-added biomaterials from marine biomass/marine biomaterials for 3-D bioprinting.
