The MyWorklife initiative will reshape how People and Culture (P&C) services are provided at Flinders. P&C are partnering with IDS and our colleagues throughout the University to implement a new way of delivering P&C services.
Since the 1990s, P&C have provided key HR functions using a number of systems and manual processes centred around a payroll system and self-service portal. The payroll system was never designed to support people throughout their “work life”.
As part of the program, we are undertaking a comprehensive review and redevelopment of our current P&C processes to streamline the ways we work and create consistency and efficiency throughout the University. We will also deliver a new system – Workday. Workday is a world leading provider of Human Resource software and will allow for numerous paper-based and manual processes to be managed in one system.
Over the next few months we will be implementing for P&C:
- A Delegations of Authority Framework
- Service Catalogue
- Modernising a number of forms
In April next year we will be launching the first release of Workday. Please visit our website for further details about what is included in the first release, and if you have any questions or would like to provide us with your feedback, please email myworklife@flinders.edu.au.
