Flinders University and the Australian Red Cross are co-hosting a conference on 3-4 November 2012 that will advance the debate on the urgent need to develop a legally binding tool to prohibit and eliminate nuclear weapons. The conference will draw together leading academics and experts from around the world to explore a range of themes from the legality of the use of nuclear weapons to their devastating humanitarian and environmental impacts and the role of governments, advocacy groups and civil society in furthering the debate.
