Do you write and perform poetry or music? You might be interested in a new poetry and music open mic event at Christies Beach. Southern Poets’ & Musicians Interactive Network (SPIN) poetry and music open mic is held on the third Wednesday of each month, except December.

Each month a guest poet or guest musician performs for around fifteen minutes, followed by an open mic opportunity section when anyone can perform their work to an appreciative audience. Acoustic music, a cappella singing and poetry with or without musical backing are all suitable for this event.
