Kicking off its 2014 exhibition program in late February, Flinders University Art Museum and City Gallery promises another year of great art sure to engage, challenge and inspire.
Comprising five exhibitions, the program will feature the national touring exhibitions: Testing Ground, exploring ideas of culture, nature and place; Bimblebox: art – science – nature, which responds to issues of land protection and management; and the Australian War Memorial’s highly acclaimed Ben Quilty: After Afghanistan.
South Australian artists will be showcased through major FUAM initiatives: Mother Nature is a Lesbian, an exhibition of political prints drawn from the University’s collection; along with newly commissioned works comprising The Microscope Project.
Exhibitions will be presented at the Flinders University City Gallery, State Library of SA, in the heart of Adelaide’s cultural precinct. Entry to all exhibitions is free.
