My memorable moments with the nurses and midwives I meet worldwide are their immeasurable passion to help others in their times of health needs even in the absence of Doctors.

In the rural Philippines where the ratio of patients to doctors is very high, the majority of us during our younger days were treated by midwives and nurses at the Barangay Health stations and we were cured and healthy – without seeing a doctor.

Congratulations to Nurses and Midwives!  Your role as front liners in these trying times of COVID-19 pandemic is very challenging and much appreciated.
