Two FCIC PhD students are through to the University final of the 3 Minute Thesis. Ayla Orang and Annette Mazzone have made it through two rounds to reach the final, where they will compete against six other finalists for the honour of representing Flinders at the Asia Pacific Final in Queensland later in September.

Annette’s talk is titled, “Mending the Heart … Breaking the Kidney” and Ayla’s is, “Metformin, microRNA and Cancer”.

There is a People’s Choice Award at the University Final, voted for by the audience. So come to the Final and support our students – 1 September, 2.30pm, Law Commerce Lecture Theatre 4.
