Dr Lisa Beatty has been named a 2017 SA Tall Poppy of Science by the Australian Institute of Policy and Science. Lisa has developed a free online web-based resource called ‘Finding My Way’ to help people cope with cancer and its challenges. Lisa is a Cancer Council SA postdoctoral research fellow and a psychologist working with cancer patients at FCIC.

Like Lisa, Dr Kate Fennell, a psychologist and researcher who was previously at FCIC working with Professor Carlene Wilson, was also named a Tall Poppy for 2017.
