Prostate cancer research programme – early investigator research award

This supports early-career investigators in developing a research project, investigating a problem or question in prostate cancer research, and furthering their intellectual development as prostate cancer researchers of the future under the guidance of at least one designated mentor. Grants are worth up to USD 300,000 each for a maximum period of two years.

This supports mentored research experience that prepares physicians with clinical duties for careers in prostate cancer research. Awards are worth up to USD 750,000 each over four years.

Prostate cancer data science award

This supports highly innovative, groundbreaking research, high-impact research with near-term clinical relevance, the next generation of prostate cancer investigators through mentored research and resources that will facilitate translational research. Awards are worth USD 1m each in direct costs over up to three years.

Prostate cancer research programme – health disparity research award

This supports promising research ideas for prostate cancer research that have the potential to make a significant impact in eliminating disparities in prostate cancer incidence, morbidity, mortality and survivorship. Up to nine awards are available, worth up to USD 750,000 each over three years.

Prostate cancer research programme – translational science award

This supports translational research that will develop promising ideas in prostate cancer into clinical applications. Awards are worth up to USD 750,000 each for up to three years.

Prostate cancer, health equity research and outcomes improvement consortium award

This supports a synergistic, multi-institutional collaboration in incorporating innovative and translational approaches that have the potential to make a major impact on prostate cancer, health equity and outcomes improvement. The approximate budget is USD 12.96 million to fund approximately three awards for an initial maximum period of two years.

Prostate cancer research programme – clinical consortium award

This provides the support to develop and enhance collaborations and resources necessary for a network of organisations to rapidly execute phase II or phase II-linked phase I (phase I/II) prostate cancer clinical trials. Funding is worth up to USD 7.2 million over four years.

Prostate cancer research programme – idea development award

This supports research that will lead to the elimination of death from prostate cancer and enhance the well-being of those suffering from the disease and their families. Awards are worth up to USD 750,000 each for a maximum of three years.
