On behalf of the University Research Committee, Prof Rob Saint invites you to the Flinders’ Research World Café. The Café will be an opportunity for researchers to have a conversation about the following topics:
Topic 1 – How can we improve our research engagement with industry?
Topic 2 – How can we enhance the quality of our higher degree supervision?

Morning tea will be provided. Please advise dietary requirements when registering your interest.
The World Café is an opportunity for researchers to explore together the topics listed above in an informal setting by discussing them in small groups. The discussions will be held in multiple rounds in a cafe ambiance, allowing for relaxed and open conversations to take place with a number of your colleagues. Insights and resulting actions or outcomes will be shared with participants later in the year.
Professor Rob Saint, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) will facilitate the session, together with Professor Tara Brabazon, Dean, Graduate Research, Professor John Spoehr, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Impact), Sally Wheldrake, Acting Director, Research Development and Support and the College Deans (Research) – Professor Jo Arciuli (NHS), Professor Peter Eastwood (MPH), Professor Penny Edmonds (HASS), Professor Claire Lenehan (SE), Professor Mike Nicholls (EPSW) and Professor Gerry Redmond (BGL).
