Flinders University will be hosting the 2013 South Australian Tournament of Minds on campus on 7 and 8 September 2013.

Tournament of Minds is one of the fastest growing international school programs, which aims to develop diverse skills, enterprise, time management and the discipline to work collaboratively within a challenging and competitive environment.

The competition brings together students from primary and secondary schools to solve demanding, open-ended challenges from the following disciplines:

• Applied Technology
• Language/ Literature
• Maths/Engineering
• Social Sciences

The winning teams from South Australia will represent the State at the National Championships in October.

Hosting the competition represents an excellent opportunity to introduce the students and their families of tomorrow to Flinders University and our environment.

Staff should be aware there will be activity on campus during the ToM and are asked to be patient with the extra foot and motor traffic .
