Research by a team led by biologist Associate Professor Mike Schwarz into the near extinction of bees 65 million years ago was the subject of an Advertiser story and was featured on the ABC.  Professor Craig Simmons of the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training was widely quoted in news stories on the economic valuation of Australia’s groundwater at $7 billion per year.
