Social Impact Investment event

NVI is pleased to be working with the Social Impact Investment Network SA to work with financial, government, community and philanthropic sectors to develop Social Impact Investment within SA. Social impact investments are  investments intended to generate measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.

The event will be held on 7 November at Flinders University Victoria Square.

Social impact investments are now being applied in producing both financial returns and better social outcomes in some of society’s most challenging areas, for example: children in State care, offender recidivism, and disability housing. In the UK there are currently 14 active social impact bonds and in NSW two bonds have been issued focused on family restoration and placement prevention of children into care.

The $30 event fee also provides attendees with membership of SINSA, a great way to keep abreast of social impact investment developments within SA. Attendance at the event for members of SINSA is complimentary.
