“R” is a software environment for statistical computing and graphics.

Essentially a programming language, it is therefore not the simplest to use. However, it is available under an open access licence and is frequently used by researchers as a first platform in which new statistical procedures are released.

The eResearch team has negotiated an arrangement with a provider of online R courses, which allows our staff and postgraduate students to purchase (US $60) online access (valid until September 2014) to 22 various workshops constituting 980 separate videos in total.
