The School of Psychology is running the short course Updating My Clinical Psychology Skills in May and June to allow established psychology practitioners to be updated on current practice and future directions in specialty clinical areas.

Five three-hour workshops will be held on Level 10 of Flinders University Victoria Square at 5.30pm on consecutive Tuesdays, beginning on 20 May.

The workshops will be:

• Eating Disorders (20 May)
• Autism Spectrum Disorders (27 May)
• Impulsive avoidance: working with clients who use gambling or binge-eating to manage psychological distress (3 June)
• Brief behavioural and cognitive interventions for insomnia (10 June)
• Trauma focused therapy for post-traumatic stress disorders (17 June).

The cost for the course is $600. Workshops can be attended in isolation at a cost of $150 each.
