Neurodegenerative Disease Expo

Medical and health professionals from across southern Adelaide are being encouraged to attend a free Neurodegenerative Disease Expo at the Adelaide  Town Hall later this month, hosted by the Repatriation General Hospital

The Expo will provide information (including how to refer) regarding clinics, services and associations, which can assist in the community management of patient symptoms, thereby improving quality of life and preventing readmission to hospital.

Conditions will include Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Multiple System Atrophy, Essential Tremor, Muscular Dystrophy and Post-Polio Syndrome.

The event also offers stalls so you can share what your service can provide patients. There will be noticeboard space 1×1.2m for posters and also table space for handouts.

You will need to provide information about how your service can assist, including how to refer.

Set-up will be from 4pm on Wednesday 18 June at the Adelaide Town Hall. If staff are unable to attend, it would still be a great opportunity to have this work on display for delegates to see.

Details on how to be a stallholder are here.

The expo will run from 5pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday, 18 June in the Adelaide Town Hall Auditorium.

The event is free, but please register here for tickets.
