Applications are now open for the 2014 rounds of the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching and the Flinders Teaching and Learning Innovation Grants.

Academic staff, and staff with academic status at Flinders, who are substantially engaged with learning and teaching are eligible to apply to both schemes.  Professional staff are also encouraged to apply in their own right to the Flinders Teaching and Learning Innovation Grants and to be part of team applications for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching encourage, recognise and reward teaching excellence.  Up to five awards may be made each year.  Closing date:  24 October 2014. Guidelines, application requirements and the online portal can be found here.

Teaching and Learning Innovation Grants provide funding to encourage new developments in teaching and learning.  Up to nine grants may be awarded, including two focused on internationalisation of the curriculum.
