A large group of Flinders’ friends – former and current staff and students, VIPs and external stakeholders – has been invited for this historic occasion, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the original sod turning at Flinders. Some clever technology showing the future face of Flinders will complement a traditional sod-turning, with a free sausage sizzle and other food offerings to follow.
