Professor Phyllis Tharenou, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences invites you and your colleagues to attend a Professionals Lecture Series lecture by Professor Kostas Mavromaras, Director National Institute of Labour Studies (NILS) on The Evaluation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

In May 2013, NILS was commissioned by the Commonwealth government to carry out evaluation of the trial of the NDIS in 2013 to 2016, which includes about 10 per cent of the total expected NDIS participants. The NILS Evaluation is following the early NDIS years to inform and improve the full rollout after 2016.

This major project is already creating a lasting and comprehensive body of evidence for Australia. The talk will take the audience through some aspects of the exciting research and development that underpins the NDIS Evaluation.

The lecture is on Tuesday, 18 November 2014, starting at 3.45pm for 4pm  at Flinders University, Victoria Square.
