IT firm Axios Systems has been awarded the contract to provide Flinders University’s central IT services management system.
Axios was selected after an extensive evaluation process followed by a successful on-site pilot where the capability of the solution was workshopped with real life examples at Flinders.
Flinders has signed a five-year agreement with Axios Systems for the provision of the ITSM solution to support the University community. There will be an initial implementation for Information Technology Services (ITS) with a view to explore other opportunities for its use across the University.
Pro Vice-Chancellor (Information Services) Professor Richard Constantine (right) met with Axios Systems’ Senior Vice Principal – Emerging Markets, Mr Andros Symeonides, to sign the agreement.
The initial implementation within ITS will result in the capability to provide a higher level of customer service in areas related to providing help, new service requests and reporting / service metrics. Additional functionality will be implemented over a series of staged releases.
